The Family Topi has been making wine for 4 generations, even if the turn happened in the 80s, when in Suvereto wine growers started to work following a modern culture of the grapevine and the wine. After the management of the patriarch Angiolino, the firm is taken in hand by Laura Topi Celembrini that, since then, dedicated her whole job and all her energies to create a quality wine. Under the guide of the technicians of the Matura group, some investments are carried out, the existing vines are classified with precision (Sangioveses, mainly Trebbiano, then Malvasia, Ansonica, Barbera and an autochthonous of ancient origins, the Giacomino, known already by the Etruscans in the VII century B.C.), new vineyards were planted and new methods introduced as the refinement in barrels. The farm has a surface of 8 hectares and 2.40 hectares in lease, among which 5.80 are planted with vineyards, in a completely level area, on a clayey land.
