One of the oldest farming estates in the municipality of Suvereto, the Petri family has owned it since 1911 and is run by the two sisters Paola and Rosa and their husbands Vittorio and Paolo. Over the 100 hectares of land are 10 hectares of vineyard and 4000 ancient olive trees that form a spectacular olive grove. The owners, taking advantage of the family’s long experience, make excellent wines and extra virgin olive oil of the best quality. You can buy the produce directly from the farm, tasting it under the guidance of Paolo, a FISAR sommelier and Paola who is a member of the committee called ‘Panel Test’ for the Leghorn Provincial Tasters’ Association. Il Falcone is a farm holiday location as well with eight flats that have recently been completely restored
